(ANSA) - Rome, April 4 - Premier Matteo Renzi and his family
will meet privately Friday with Pope Francis, according to media
reports that cited government sources.The informal meeting is said to be the first between Renzi, who became premier in February, and the pope, who was elected just over one year ago, according to reports in Italian daily newspapers including the Corriere della Sera.
Sources said the meeting would likely not touch on policy issues.
