Motive for shootings unclear
03 April, 15:32 (ANSA) - Milan, April 3 - An elderly man shot dead his wife
and a colleague on Thursday before turning the gun on himself.
Domenico Magrì, 78, first shot Carmelo Orifici, 69, on a building site in Segrate, near Milan.
The two men both worked in the construction industry and were due to meet to discuss business.
The alarm was raised by Orifici's son who arrived late for the same meeting to see Magrì driving off in his father's car.
Magrì then drove home to Bottanuco near Bergamo where he shot his wife and then himself.
The motive for the killings was unclear.
