(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 2 - Rain and high winds will continue to
whip Italy until the weekend, when more sunny conditions will
return, forecasters said Thursday.
A tree was blown down onto three parked cars in Genoa Thursday
while the levels of two rivers in MIlan, the Seveso and the
Lambro, were causing concern.
Elsewhere across Italy some parts saw more flooding.
In all, eight Italian regions were put under an orange weather
alert, including Tuscany and Campania, the regions around
Florence and Naples respectively.
"Friday will be wet and windy again but the sun will start
peeking back on Saturday and it will get warmer on Sunday," said
Antonio Sanò of the IlMeteo.it website. (ANSA).
