(ANSA) - ROME, APR 30 - Italy is top in Europe for the number
of unaccompanied migrant minors who go missing, according to a
new three-year report.
Some 22,899 unaccompanied migrant kids disappeared in Italy over
the last three years, and 10,100 in 2023 alone, said the report,
"Lost in Europe" (lostineurope.org) on the 2021-2023 period in
30 countries, the 27 EU members plus the UK, Switzerland and
Norway. (ANSA).
