(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 28 - Premier Giorgia Meloni told trade
unions on Tuesday that the government was working to "fix" an
article in its 2024 budget bill that will cut the State pensions
of 732,000 public-sector workers over 20 years, including 55,600
doctors.
The measure is part of the reason unions have been protesting
against the package, with doctor associations especially angry
about it. (ANSA).
