(ANSA) - Washington, April 8 - The International Monetary
Fund on Tuesday forecast that unemployment in Italy would be
12.4% this year after averaging 12.2% in 2013. The IMF added in
its World Economic Outlook that unemployment will drop to 11.9%
next year. National statistics agency Istat recently said
unemployment reached 13% in Italy in February.
