(ANSA) - Rome, April 3 - Queen Elizabeth II and her husband
Prince Philip, the duke of Edinburgh, arrived at the Vatican
about 20 minutes late for their meeting with Pope Francis
Thursday.
The royal motorcade followed the famous Via della Conciliazione leading up to the entrance to the St. Peter's Square.
The queen and the prince were to hold their private meeting with the pope in a small study inside the Vatican.
